1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using DefenceCart, you agree to these Terms. If you use the platform on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it.

2. Marketplace role

DefenceCart is a marketplace that enables buyers to discover verified vendors and issue RFQs. We are not a party to the underlying purchase contract between a buyer and a vendor. Commercial terms, delivery, warranty and payment obligations sit with the transacting parties.

3. Vendor verification and tiers

Tier badges (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) reflect the completion of specific due-diligence checks at the time of assessment. They are not guarantees of vendor performance, quality or solvency, and may change as records are refreshed.

4. Acceptable use

• No fraudulent listings, forged certifications, or misrepresentation of capacity.
• No export-controlled items outside applicable licences and end-use rules.
• No scraping, reverse engineering, or unauthorised access to the platform.

5. Fees

Applicable subscription, verification or transaction fees are disclosed in the relevant order form or dashboard. Taxes are additional where applicable.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DefenceCart's aggregate liability arising out of use of the platform is limited to fees paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We do not accept liability for indirect or consequential losses.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Bengaluru shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory dispute resolution mechanism prescribed by law.
