1. Introduction

DefenceCart ("we", "us") operates a due-diligence-first marketplace connecting defence buyers with verified vendors. This policy describes what personal and business information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

2. Information we collect

• Account data: name, work email, phone, role and company.
• Vendor verification data: GSTIN, PAN, CIN, director KYC, bank account details submitted for penny-drop, quality certificates (ISO, AS9100, etc.).
• Marketplace activity: RFQs, quotes, product listings, messages and transaction metadata.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser, cookies and session identifiers.

3. How we use it

To operate the marketplace, run vendor due-diligence checks, match buyers with qualified suppliers, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and improve the product. We do not sell buyer or vendor data and we do not run pay-to-rank.

4. Sharing

Verification details are shared with the regulated data sources needed to validate them (e.g. GSTN, MCA, banking rails). Buyer/vendor identity and quote details are shared only with the counterparties of a specific RFQ. Aggregated, non-identifying metrics may be published.

5. Retention

We retain verification and transaction records for the period required by applicable law and audit obligations. Accounts may request deletion of non-mandatory data at any time.

6. Your rights
